"Thank you for coming I am Troy Deriks!" Troy put both his arms up triumphant. He was so proud of himself, this was his first televised stand up special. Of course it would be played late on a Friday night, but he didn't care, his name would get out there. He walked off to the side of the stage and pointed to his name one last time before leaving. Hearing the cheers of his fans gave him so much energy, he figured tonight was the best night of his life.... so far.
That night he partied with his close friends. He was having the time of his life. Late into the party it began to die down, luckily he was in the city that never sleeps. He left his friends house that the party was thrown at and went back to his hotel. He decided to just chill at the bar and knock back a few more drinks before passing out for about 15 hours on his bed.
He stepped in looking around at the, what he thought, were low lives drinking this late. He had no idea what time it was, in fact he didn't know what time it was since his show ended at 9pm.. He sat down at the bar counter stool, "I''l have a jack and coke." He was always good at talking drunk, he had to to get by his parents when he was younger. He then rubbed his face waiting for his drink.
He quickly turned his head to the guy next to him, not caring who it was. "What brings you out here so late?" He was always a really friendly drunk. He loved talking to people and meeting people drunk since he usually never got mad.

Taking a sip from his glass as he heard the comedian who was just on order a drink. Looking over his left shoulder to him when he addressed him. He answered by looking at him funny then snapping his fingers lazily, " Your that guy... Uh.. Troy Derkins. Good show." Then knocked back a shot and turned it in his fingers before setting it upside down on the bar. Dressed in a light blue suit with the little brown patches on his elbows the professor patches as they are called. he undid his tie letting it hang and his buttons on his collar undone enough to see the long johns he was wearing peek out. In a raspy voice he responded, " 80, horny barely interested credit chasing young adults brings me here." He looked to the bar keep and ordered another one, " Oh you meant to this bar. Ha." He said in a sarcastic tone, even though it wasn't the students that drove him to drinking.
He slid over the pamphlet for tonight, it listed all the acts, " My sister is on after you. I have to show my support." Then he muttered under his breath, " Make sure she doesn't break her neck." Looking over to the kid, " Do you go to school?" He said in a hopefully tone, as a teacher he always found education to be key and found celebrities and performers to be useless in the greater society and unfairly composited.

Troy took the pamphlet from the counter and stared at it for a moment, he couldn't really tell the the words from it, but he saw a picture of someone on a pole. He must of thought it was some kind of circus event. He then put it down, "cool, cool man." He really didn't care much but he liked to be a nice guy so he pretended to.
He didn't understand what this guy meant when he talked about the 80 horny young adults, he didn't understand that at all. He was flattered to hear that someone had saw him on t.v. he was glad atleast some people saw him. Once the man talked about school everything clicked, Oh damn he is a teacher! He laughed before he spoke, "You say you saw my show, but you don't know I didn't go to college?" He paused for a second before smiling again, "Yea, after I told the story of how I got kicked out of the UNH field trip with my school for pissing in the Lab cylinders I decided college wasn't for me, and i guess it worked out for me! I am on tv!" He said pointing to the, not off, tv." He took the drink and passed some money on the counter to the bartender then turned back to the man, "So whats your name, and what do you teach?"

Rob watched the kid noticed how interested he was in the event and he liked that. When he asked if he saw his show and didn't know he was in school he gracefully shurged his shoulders. He was tuning in and out of the show really. He tapped Troy on the shoulder and pointed to a waitress, " I was a little distracted." A smirk on his face when the waitress had bent over to scrub a table, "perfect timing." he mused.
His attention back on the kid, a long drawn out sigh. Not wanting to get into a debate with someone he just met. When asked for his name he answered in that husky voice, " Professor Robert Dawson, I teach Biology. In fact I am holding a contest of sorts." He said with a toothy grin like the charming devil he was. " I am going to be on tv to, Monday. I am attempting to study the advancement in human evolution, and I need volunteers who can prove my theory. Basically 5 thousand dollars to whoever can display a new trait." He said casually not really making any implications but conversation. Honestly he was excited about the anoument. He then cringed, thinking this was going to show up on the kids act now.

Troy smiled at the cover Robert had for not paying attention to his show. He nodded his head, "Thats what I'm talking about!" but calmed down when he remembered he wasn't with his rowdy friends. He listened intently to what Rob was saying one he said somethign about biology. Troy loved biology.
"Yo, you know about the... evolution of people? Like what? Like being able to fly or something?" Troy was very interested in this, thinking he might have a nice 5k after he showed his ability, but he really didn't want to do that on t.v., not just yet. "Can you elaborate a bit more on this, I think i can get someone on that show."

Robert laughed when the kid mentioned about people flying, " No I don't think people can fly. Just taints genetically picked up and adapted for the new generation. Like my sister, can uh... Well she can jump higher then most people." he said with a shrug. Then looking to the kid who said he can think of someone for the show, " Its not really for tv, but I do think it will make some ripple in the news. The contest is private, I observe the ability take a little sample of DNA. Ask a few question, then cut that little check." He said in a charming voice with a trusting look in his eyes. It sounded so easy, so carefree.
He put out one of his cigarettes and watched as the ember slowly got snuffed out by his twisting motions, as he said, " Of course little things like being double jointed don't really count, so it would have to be things that are fairly supportive of my thesis." Looking to the kid he smirked, then raised his hand and without using his other hand bent each of his fingers back-wards into a fist as if his palm was facing the wrong way. " This is just double jointed, so doesn't count." He said letting his fingers come back up making a normal fist with them. He like to underplay his own abilities as well as his sisters.

Troy knew he was the man for that "talent show" or whatever it was. He listened to the man, knowing full well what he meant by traits. "Yea, my friend can.... Jump higher than most people too." he said making quotations with his fingers on the words "Jump Higher." He took another sip of his drink and put it down.
Troy began to debate whether or not to show this guy his ability. He was really reluctant because if he turned into a wolf he would just end up killing the guy, but if he didn't show him his ability he wouldn't get any money. He was in a Catch22, he would need a way to show his ability without actually showing it.

A smile on his face as Rob seemed intrigued by the kid. Then he laughed, " Your a funny kid you know. Your whole act listing to the ramblings of a crazy drunken old professor. Then turn around and use it in your damn act." Looking at the kid with this serious look in his eyes, " Look, I don't have time for crap. By the way, if he can't help prove my theory he owes me one thousand dollars. For my time." His eyes narrowed for a moment as he stared at the kid. Looking for any sign of a flinch or sudden moment that may prove his hunch of the kid lieing to him. The lights started to dim, The pre-show act was going on behind the two at the bar but Robert's eyes didn't shift.

Troy's eyes kept shifting from his drink to Robert. He was a terrible lier when he was drunk, but he thought he was smooth, it never occurred to him that he looked very suspicious. It wasn't that he was lying to the man, it was just that he was nervous about talking about his so called "Gift."
Troy then shifted his eyes to the left to see what was going on behind them, he wasn't looking at them, he was paying attention to robet who was still staring right at him. He then had a sudden jump, he just looked straight into Robert's eyes and said, "Alright man, I am ganna come clean, I don't have a friend that has special traits." He paused for a moment, he was going to wait until he was about to speak and interrupt him, "I have special traits, but I can't show you them, not here."

A snarl on his face as he watched the kid's eyes shift around like watching a tennis ball game. A grin creped across his face. When he said he had a special trait. Then he said he couldn't show him here. He had to admit he didn't like the looks of this, his eyes to show. Perhaps he could miss one, not like she would even be able to see him watching. There was already a crowd forming, " Alright, but to let you know I don't carry the cash on me. Its school funded. How about out back?" He didn't look afraid at all, in fact his eyes haven't even blinked since Troy has been watching, it was as if he was some sort of walking android. Behind them the music started playing Two men walked out carrying Ada on the Russian bar. Rob stood up and nodded to the barkeep as he pointed to the kid. Indicating to put it on his tab.

Troy sighed. He really didn't want to do this. He was upset the the alcohol was getting to him. He didn't move as the man stood up, he remained seated, staring into nothing. This man is going to regret this, I am going to regret this...well maybe not, I haven't killed anyone today. Troy was regressing back, his mind began to think more like it did when he was in wolf form.
For awhile now Troy had been trying not to kill people, he began to feel pains in his chest after he did, feeling guilty. He finally stood up, "Thats not what I meant, I really don't think I can show you what I can do safely."

Wiping his lips as he was salivating at the idea of meeting a potential chimera. He was tingling with anticipation as the kid said it wasn't safe for him to show him. This must be good he thought as he licked his lips again. Turning to look at Troy he smiled wide, " I have a lab. I have a container that can contain a wild crazed elephant. I think that will be, efficient." He said patting Troy on the back. His eyes shifting to watch the show as he reminisced about his first Chimera. One day, perhaps he will have plenty of tamed pets to do as he says. He made a mistake with that first one though, one he wouldn't make again. His eyes shifting to Troy, " You ready?" Her asked in a cool calm tone, where on the inside he was tingling and itching to see what this kid would do. If it was one of his jokes, then the joke would be on Troy.

Troy really didn't want to do this, a container that could hold an elephant was only sturdy, it probably couldn't withstand the immense strength with long sharp claws. He didn't know why he was worried, if he killed the guy he could just take the money, it was just something about the guy. He felt a bit odd being taken into a lab by this guy, like he would become some kind of labrat, and Troy really didn't want that to happen.
"Alright man, but I am only doing it to show you, thats all your getting out of me. So whatever, lead the way." He wished he wasn't drunk to make that decision, with a clear head he might of seen the man's intent.
(want to make a new thread now at the lab?)

((sure, but the container can hold him, its more like a tank. Just describe them going to. I'' describe the lab, and will try to figure out how to make a lab protion. But his lab is in the warehouse district.))
